Starting at age 14 while still in high school, over 64 years ago, I raised and sold registered beagles. I have kept beagles ever since.
While most Beaglers only last a few years, we have been in the beagle business approximately 45 years on a full-time basis. Glen will be retiring the beagle business at the end of 2025.
We have the the largest beagle kennel in Southern Illinois. We run a full-time operation selling hounds to many people throughout the United States. Some travel many miles to see my operation and watch their style of beagle run and then choose the hound that suits them. It’s better if you can watch the dogs perform. You are encouraged to bring along your best and put it to the test. We show all dogs here in the running pens. You can see them hunt, jump and run rabbits. We shoot over all dogs in the running pens.
If you can’t make the trip to the farm, please give us a call and select from the rabbits dogs posted on our website. Agian, it’s better if you can see the dogs perform as our medium speed or fast is only our opinion and yours could be different. We do offer delivery but not by a shipper. Nothing against shippers but we want you to get your purchased dogs within a week or so. We will meet you half way; depending of how far you want to travel. Or they can be delivered to your front door. My husband, Sid does this and has been delivering puppies for the last 28+ years.

We offer AKC registered running beagles: medium, medium-fast and fast (no real slow dogs); 1-6 yrs. old. Prices vary according to age, ability and blood lines. Please call for price. Our specialty is AKC Field Champion bred started and train rabbit hunting. We hunt no dogs in the wild.
